Welcome to the new Greenwich Mencap website! I am pleased to report that the latest step in modernising our approach to information and communication about our services is complete.
As well as learning more about our team and each of our services, you can now apply for membership online, complete a referral form for Independent Living Support, and stay up to date with the latest news and upcoming events.
Why we did it
We want to improve awareness of the services we offer and provide better access to information which can support people with a learning difficulty, learning difficulty or autism. We also wanted to create an online platform where our organisation, its staff and our service users and their families can speak up, be listened to, and feel valued.
We hope you like the new website and find it easy to use. Accessibility is central to everything we do and we will be working to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG) AA standards, including improving the ease of use of our text and images, over the course of 2018. Most of the pages on this website should work well using assistive technologies like screen readers. However, if you or someone you know has any difficulty using this website, please send us the details and we will endeavor to resolve the issue.
