Greenlights Coordinator

35 h / week (F/T) @ £22,119 pa

Greenwich Mencap is a local registered member-led charity working with and for people with a learning disability and their families in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Greenwich Mencap’s Greenlights Project is an innovative behaviour support service funded by the Big Lottery Fund for families where a child aged 0-11 years has a learning disability and/or autism and exhibits challenging behaviour.

The Greenlights Coordinator supports families who are experiencing behavioural difficulties from their child to develop coping strategies/behaviour management skills, understand and manage sibling rivalry & improve communication skill. The coordinator also provides workshops to families to help them understand and manage challenging behaviour
