We are looking to develop the learning offer available for young adults in Greenwich and we would like your input.
We have already met with the Parent Carer Advisory Group and we are keen to involve more families in the consultation at this stage to ensure your views and experiences are included from the earliest stage.
We are hosting a virtual parent consultation event on Thursday, February 25th at 7 pm on Zoom. In attendance will be senior leaders from Children’s and Adult Service.
The plan is to spend some time introducing the current context of 19+ learning in Greenwich and then discuss the Blended Learning model we are looking to develop. The model will be aimed at young adults with a severe and complex level of need from an education and social care perspective.
The session will cover:
- What the Code of Practice says about preparation for Adulthood
- The current 19+ offer
- The blended learning model we are looking to develop
- Questions to parents about the model
