What does the Greenlights Project do?
The Greenlights Project works with the family to help them develop behaviour management skills.
The Greenlights Project Worker works with families for up to ten regular sessions, usually in their home. These sessions are split into 3 parts:
Part 1:
- Discuss the issues that the family are having and identify what they would like to change or improve
- Observe and work with the parents/carer and child to identify the reasons for any challenging beaviour
- Gather information for other sources
Part 2:
- Work with family/school
- Help empower parents to understand, cope and deal with their child's behaviour
Part 3:
Follow up sessions, and offer ongoing support.
Referral Criteria
To be referred you must:
- Be between the ages of 5 & 19
- Have a learning disability and behavioural difficulties
- Live in the Borough of Greenwich
We take referrals from any source.
